The Ocean Foundation (TOF) served on the Environmental Program Advisory Group for the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation to design and develop its environment grantmaking program.


Metal Marvels has dedicated a 5% portion of the proceeds from the sale of their "I am giving" bracelet sales to The Ocean Foundation's 71% initiative. 

North Coast Brewing Co. partnered with The Ocean Foundation to establish the North Coast Brewing Marine Mammal Fund, supported by the sale of their Stellar IPA beer and merchandise. Proceeds from those sales go to The Marine Mammal Center based in Sausalito, the Noyo Center for Marine Science in Fort Bragg, and the Marine Mammal Research Unit at The University of British Columbia. The Stellar IPA and 12 other year-round beers by North Coast have been certified Non-GMO, making North Coast Brewing Co. the second brewery in the US to achieve this certification. 

In 2014, Numi became a founding member of TOF’s Field Research Partnership Program, providing high quality tea products to projects completing critical conservation work. Numi celebrates the planet through their thoughtful choices of organic tea, eco-responsible packaging, offsetting carbon emissions, and minimizing supply chain waste.

The Ocean Foundation (TOF) and the Pacific Life Foundation are mutually committed to the preservation and conservation of the highly endangered humpback whale in North America. Pacific Life sports the humpback whale as its logo, the focus of their advertising campaign, and have instilled a whale theme throughout their corporate headquarters. 

In June 2015, Papa’s Pilar announced a partnership that would make Papa Hemingway proud. In a grassroots effort to make “Papa” proud, the award-winning artisan-crafted rum, and The Ocean Foundation partnered in their efforts to protect and restore oceans and coastal environments around the world. A partnership with The Ocean Foundation is a perfect fit for Papa’s Pilar, given its dedication to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments, and Hemingway’s commitment to conservation.

que Bottle is a California-based sustainable product design company specializing in 100% plastic-and-BPA-free collapsible water bottles. This sustainable business chose to donate 10% of their total lightweight, compact and stylish bottle sales for three months to The Ocean Foundation in 2018.

Rising Springs SPC (Social Purpose Corporation) is a small family-owned business founded in 2015 that stewards pure geothermal spring water located in Idaho's Sawtooth National Forest.

They responsibly share Rising Springs and package their water in an eco-friendly 5 liter box. They understand that all our activities have environmental impacts. In order to minimize their impact, they partnered with The Ocean Foundation's SeaGrass Grow program to offset 100% of the carbon emissions from their direct shipping model in 2018.

In 2011 The Ocean Foundation (TOF) helped launch the Rockefeller Ocean Strategy, which seeks to identify profitable investment opportunities that restore and support the health and sustainability of the world’s oceans. In this effort, Rockefeller Capital Management has collaborated with The Ocean Foundation to gain specialized insight and research on marine trends, risks and opportunities, as well as analysis of coastal and ocean conservation initiatives.

In honor of the Summer 2019 launch of their Save the Ocean apparel line, Roffé​ Accessories will donate a percentage of their sales to The Ocean Foundation. The Save the Ocean apparel line sources yarn made from recycled plastic bottles. Roffé​ Accessories is proud to enter into a long-term partnership to protect and conserve the world ocean.
