Our Vision
is to foster the collection, exchange, and publication of data in the physical and life sciences in areas of the world where environmental pressures are great and scientific understanding is lacking.

Our Mission
is to offer individual, customized, affordable internship packages to U.S. graduate and undergraduate students. Our interns go to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, or Brazil and earn college credit at San Diego State University or their own university. Interns can work at a sea turtle research center on the beach or in a university lab, collect data in the field for their paper, and immerse themselves in the local culture and language. The foreign sea turtle organization receives a flow of skilled science students, collaboration with an American university, and joint publication opportunities.
