At Sea Level, a film about Caribbean fisher folk and the future of the sea
"Ignorance is more expensive than knowledge, especially if you allow ignorance to prevail." Dalston Samuel, a fisher from Antigua and Barbuda
If we are to preserve the stunning marine diversity and beauty of the Caribbean, it is vital that fishers and citizens of Caribbean nations see a vision of people like themselves leading and making a difference. For the sake of the planet we share, it is also necessary that the rest of us recognize and support locals as leaders and partners. At Sea Level will tell stories of conservation through the eyes of the fishers. An intimate, people‐focused story of marine challenges, the film will introduce some of the most engaging people on the planet, while documenting urgent problems and inspiring success stories.
